She is the Founder & CEO | Senior Strategist of ICU Consulting Firm, a multidisciplinary consulting agency built on the dual foundations of legal rigor and clinical precision—structured like a law firm, responsive like an ICU.

Her model provides intensive organizational support across sectors—guiding corporate, government, faith-based, and nonprofit institutions through critical transitions, leadership restructuring, workforce underperformance, and reputati.onal risk. Her firm is where entities turn when they want to stop reacting—and start building with strategy, structure, and soul.

Robin’s work is driven by a rare blend of clinical training, research acumen, and real-world execution. She is the creator of multiple proprietary frameworks, including RECBAC, FOCUS, and The Urban Note, which guide institutions toward high-functioning leadership, staff cohesion, crisis recovery, and mission clarity. These models are currently used by CEOs, HR teams, municipalities, health systems, start-ups, and cultural institutions seeking depth—not jargon.

Academically, Robin holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lakeland University, Wisconsin, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Applied Leadership at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. She is also a licensed professional counselor (LPC-IT) and a substance abuse counselor (SAC-IT), bringing clinical insight to her leadership roles. Her intellectual work goes beyond her professional roles, as she is currently writing the book Let Me Be Here for YOU While YOU Stand Up For YOURSELF, which explores her coined term “African Americanism,” discussing race, culture, and spirituality as central aspects of the Black experience in America.

Through ICU University, Robin has built a scalable platform where organizations send individuals and teams for immersive support in areas like career stagnation, communication breakdown, cultural disconnection, burnout, and liability reduction. ICU University is an academy of clarity, confidence, and correction—offering courses, certifications, coaching, and curriculum that prepare today’s workforce for the real-world intensity of leadership, performance, and public scrutiny.

Robin is also the Executive Director of We All Rise: African American Resource Center, where she leads one of the Midwest’s most effective trauma-informed, community-rooted institutions. Her leadership at We All Rise has resulted in regional systems change, public safety innovation, and national recognition—including the 2025 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Culture of Health prize and 2025 Chancellor’s Award for Community Service from the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, where she is currently pursuing her Ed.D. in Applied Leadership.

Across her consultancy and nonprofit work, Robin’s clients range from churches to tech start-ups, breweries to behavioral health networks, local governments to grassroots organizers. Her ability to move from mid-level team dynamics to national impact has made her one of the most sought-after thought partners in the field of culturally responsive system building and executive performance under pressure.

A licensed professional counselor (LPC-IT), substance abuse counselor (SAC-IT), and master-level strategist, Robin is also the author of the forthcoming book Let Me Be Here for YOU While YOU Stand Up For Yourself. She writes and teaches extensively on what she has coined African Americanism—a liberatory framework rooted in the embodied intersections of race, legacy, faith, and systems accountability.

Amanda Garcia, MA, EdD

Associate Consultant

of the Greater Green Bay Area and has worked with and for the Latino community for over 12 years. She has a Bachelor of Arts from St. Norbert College in Political Science and International Studies and a Master’s degree in International Relations from Marquette University and has previous experience in education, community engagement, nonprofit development and leadership.

Amanda attended all public schools in Green Bay including Howe Elementary, Washington Middle School and East High School and often acted as an intermediary between Spanish-speaking students and teachers. As a first generation college graduate, she credits the Upward Bound program, several mentors and her parents encouragement for helping her prepare for college admission. She is now part of the 8% of Latinos in the United States who hold an advanced degree and understands first hand the challenges needed to navigate complex systems in education and beyond.

She is also one of the co-founders of Northeast Wisconsin Latinx Rising, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting Latino families through the K-12 educational system and higher education and a member of the Latino Professionals Association of Northeast Wisconsin.  In addition, she is an Achieve Brown County board member, co-chair of the advocacy council for the Brown County United Way, member of the Latino Advisory Committee to the Green Bay Police Department, member of the Brown County Coalition to End Homelessness, helped form the United Front for Social Change a coalition which includes We All Rise African American Resource Center, COMSA- A Resource Center Serving Immigrants and Refugees and Casa ALBA Melanie in response to local civil rights issues, and was nominated as a Future 15 Young Professional of the Year in 2022.

Her educational background and interests include: civil rights and democracy, social justice & human dignity, immigration processes in the United States, immigrant/refugee/asylum seeker rights, peace and justice studies, women’s movements and gender roles, Latin American studies, U.S.-Mexico Relations, Chicano studies, international studies and global affairs, community building and mobilizing, community well-being, K-12 and higher education institutions, bilingualism & biculturalism, Latinos in the U.S., nonprofit leadership, and nonprofit development.

A long-term vision for her is seeing a thriving Northeast Wisconsin where everyone feels welcomed and has a sense of belonging as well as empowering Latino/Hispanic families to make the best decisions for themselves.

Renita Robinson, EdD

Associate Consultant

CEO of the YWCA of Greater Green Bay while also managing the launch of the Midwest Survivor Institute in April of 2023. During her professional career, Renita has developed effective programs and influenced policy related to services for youth and their families. She has been an advocate, educator and supporter for victims of sexual and domestic violence across the life, gender and race span.

Renita has served as: a principal administrator of several federal grants, the Executive Director of the Committee Against Domestic Abuse, Inc. (the largest provider of domestic and sexual violence services in Southern Minnesota); the Director of the Duluth Family Visitation Center, a program of the world re-known Domestic Abuse Intervention Programs (DAIP); Adjunct Instructor at four mid-western universities teaching a range of courses to undergraduate and graduate students in Education and Sociology; Domestic Violence Cultural Liaison and Team Lead for Lincoln Nebraska’s Office of Violence against Women (OVW) “Keepers of The Flame Project”; the Director of Domestic Violence Services, and the Family Shelter and Women’s Transitional Housing programs at the People’s City Mission, a 400+ bed homeless shelter, in Lincoln, Nebraska; the Director of the Office of Academic Support and Intercultural Studies/Culture Center at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Renita is a former licensed graduate social worker, has a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction, a Master of Arts in Sociology degree, and a doctorate degree in Teaching and Learning from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. As a highly sought after presenter of tools to create culturally responsive work spaces, Renita’s vita lists hundreds of presentations, courses and keynotes. Though honored as Teacher of The Year by the Anti-Defamation League in 1997. Her favorite accomplishment is raising two compassionate sons.

Said Hassan, MA, EdD

Associate Consultant

he is dedicated to advancing social justice and community development. Said contributes significantly to his community, holding key roles on the city’s Equal Rights Commission and the board of Bellin Health. His past positions include Research and Evaluation Manager at Brown County United Way and Paraprofessional at the Green Bay Area Public Schools District.

His international experience includes serving as a Public Relations officer for Unity for Tertiary Refugee Students (UTRS) in South Africa and working with the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development. He has been a committed human rights activist and peace ambassador, particularly in combating xenophobic violence.

Said holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies, an Honors degree in International Development from South Africa, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. He further honed his leadership skills at St. Norbert College’s Center for Exceptional Leadership.

A passionate advocate for social justice, Said leverages his communication and leadership expertise to effect positive change locally and globally.

Said is now seeking to further his leadership to the next level by planning to enroll in the Applied Leadership Ed.D. program at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay (UWGB). This advanced doctoral program will enable him to deepen his understanding of leadership theories and practices, particularly in the context of applied leadership within diverse and dynamic communities. By pursuing this Ed.D., Said aims to enhance his ability to lead effectively in complex environments, driving innovative solutions to social challenges and continuing his lifelong commitment to empowering marginalized communities.

Rajon Hall, MSW

Associate Consultant

academically, athletically, and professionally. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s prestigious MSW program, Rajon has dedicated his career to empowering Black youth and marginalized communities through culturally informed and trauma-sensitive practices.

Rajon’s passion for advocacy and youth development began early, as he navigated the realities of being raised in a historically underserved community. His work as Prevention Coordinator for the Black Youth Alliance-WI at We All Rise: African American Resource Center allowed him to mentor young people, combining his person-centered and strength-based approach to uplift the next generation of leaders. He excels at building trust with youth by leveraging his background and personal experiences, knowing firsthand the importance of accountability, resilience, and empowerment.

Rajon’s professional journey spans far beyond traditional social work roles. His work with a mental health agency in Houston involves clinical services for Black youth and their families, where he brings his solution-focused therapy and trauma-informed care expertise to each interaction. Rajon’s mission is to break generational curses and challenge the “poverty mindset,” helping young Black men and families reimagine their futures with confidence and purpose.

But his influence doesn’t stop at work. As an active uncle to 16 nieces and nephews, Rajon is a true role model. Whether he’s teaching them how to rap, biking, hiking, or taking them to once-in-a-lifetime experiences like Rod Wave concerts, Rajon is deeply committed to giving the next generation opportunities he fought hard to earn. His passion for family extends beyond kin, as he’s also a dedicated mentor to young men in business, equipping them with the tools to succeed and, crucially, negotiating for their worth.

Rajon is also a first-generation homeowner and a proud dog dad to Lily, a rescue pup. His life experiences—including his career in real estate, playing college football, and becoming a clinical therapist—serve as the foundation for his unique approach to social work. He is strict, disciplined, and unapologetically confident in his worth, qualities he wishes to pass on to the young men he mentors.

He often says, “All it takes is five seconds to change your life,” a motto he carries into both his work and personal life. Whether it’s offering his niece $5,000 to stay focused on her high school goals or spending hours on the phone guiding her through life’s challenges, Rajon embodies the power of intentional investment in others’ success.

A true master negotiator and advocate for youth, Rajon’s professional philosophy centers on empowerment, discipline, and honesty. His life’s work is about dismantling the remnants of a “slave mentality” that fuels imposter syndrome in Black men, instead instilling in them the confidence to claim their space, negotiate their worth, and lead with purpose. Rajon’s journey of overcoming obstacles and excelling at every turn serves as an inspiration to all who know him. His visionary leadership, combined with his deep empathy and strong sense of accountability, positions him as an emerging leader in the field of social work, with a bright future as a clinical social worker and business leader. He is a proud example of Black excellence, committed to leaving an indelible impact on the communities he serves and the people he loves.

Gratzi Villarroel, PhD

Associate Consultant

portfolio, Gratzia’s scholarly work delves into the intersections of indigenous movements, women’s political participation, and democratization in Latin America. With her prestigious education from Harvard University and the University of South Carolina, Gratzia has published groundbreaking work on the role of social movements in shaping modern governance, particularly in Latin American contexts.

Her diverse teaching experience includes courses like Globalization and the Global South and Feminist Perspectives on International Relations, drawing connections between grassroots activism and international political systems. Gratzia is celebrated for her commitment to diversity, social justice, and community involvement, reflected in her receipt of the 2021 Founder’s Award for her outstanding contributions to St. Norbert College.

Now joining ICU Consulting Firm as a consultant, Gratzia brings a wealth of expertise in global political dynamics, human rights, and intersectional approaches to systemic reform. Her work is not confined to academia; she engages actively with community organizations, and her fellowship at Harvard’s David Rockefeller Center provided the foundation for her research on indigenous women’s political participation under Bolivia’s Evo Morales government.

Gratzia’s extensive body of work offers unique insights into the complicity of institutions in perpetuating inequalities, as she bridges academic research with real-world applications. Her publications, including “Bolivian Women Making the Revolution” and “Diversifying Democracy in Latin America in the 21st Century”, explore the role of marginalized groups in transforming political landscapes.

An advocate for global justice and women’s rights, Dr. Villarroel is deeply committed to empowering communities and challenging institutional barriers. Her expertise will add a global perspective to ICU Consulting’s mission, making her an invaluable resource for clients seeking innovative solutions to complex political and social challenges.
